it addresses how things like attitude, degree of personal
accountability, and balance between home and work life affect
performance.
How about Succession Planning or Management Magic?
Our Career Builder Elite
program includes modules on Building Trust, Creating Teams, and
Effective Meetings are just some of the topics covered in this
comprehensive program. Designed for the supervisor, potential
supervisor, or middle manager level, this program gives any student a
head start in the Challenging Game of Business.
Who Are We?
Several years ago, we noticed two things about
the state of the American workforce: a continual need for good soft
skills training, and a need for that training to be local and
available. Our consultants came from the trenches with 50 years
experience combined in management positions before pursuing a career in
Speaking, Coaching, Training and Consulting. As a result 357 Solutions, LLC was founded. Our programs require a temporary investment, and provide permanent solutions.

DID YOU KNOW?
According to SHRM, Employee Training Programs can help broaden skills, improve morale, employee retention, and a company’s ability to attract quality candidates.
The Bottom Line
"People work for people, not companies. The quality of
relationships you have with each person you manage is probably the
single most important factor affecting performance." Truth, Trust and the Bottom Line by Diane Tracy and William J. Morin
Personnel Dynamics, Inc. research
indicates that the actual cost of employee turnover is between 33% and
250% of an employee's annual pay. In one company examined, the cost of
loosing ONE employee earning $8.50 an hour, factoring in the lost time,
training, and productivity, was $4,400.

Training Price (Excerpt)
THE PRICE OF (NOT) TRAINING
To
quantify the results that training can produce. A person being paid
$50,000 per year who is wasting just one hour per day is costing the
organization $6,250 per year (excluding benefits, overhead, opportunity
costs, etc.). If, for example, through effective training, that person
can learn how to re-capture just one hour per day, that translates into
a payback to the organization of $6,250 per year. If there is a group
of 25 people involved in the same training and they all receive a
similar benefit, the return to the organization is $156,250 per year.
(And this does not include other benefits to the organization such as
profitability, reduced turnover, improved morale, enhanced teamwork,
better customer service, greater creativity, etc.) Over five years, the
payback is $781,250. What should an organization invest to achieve that
return and payback and how soon should they invest it?

357 Solutions, LLC research indicates one law enforcement agency reported
loosing a police officer costing them $10,000 per officer. National studies indicate these figures are too low and that it actually costs one and a half times an employees' salary to loose good employees, no matter what the industry. The agency surveyed lost more than 8 officers in 2005. Formula: Base salary $32K times one-half or $16K for 8 officers. You could do the math, but I will help you out. Each employee really cost them $48K. Multiply that by 8, equals a staggering $384K. I know of a company located in Panama City, Florida that lost 99 employees in one year alone. But don't take our word for it, do your own Google Research. You can no longer stand idly by while you loose good people.
How would you like to keep 70% of your lost customers?
According to a Forum Corporation survey of commercial customers lost by 14 major manufacturing and service companies:
15% "found a better product"
15% "found a cheaper product"
20% cited "lack of contact and individual attention" from the company.
50% said "contact from old supplier’s personnel was poor in quality."
Career development programs within an organization can be an
effective tool for retention, improving communication, broadening
employee skills, raising employee morale and job satisfaction, and even
attracting quality applicants. The typical employee views a career
development program as a path to upward mobility, the managers see it
as a retention and motivational tool, and upper management views it as
a tool for succession planning. From any angle, it is a win-win
proposition.
